Ms Price said: “Terence has a strong track record in the Pacific, having worked in Fiji, Kiribati and most recently, Papua New Guinea over his 30-year banking career. He brings a wealth of experience in Commercial, Corporate and Institutional Banking, including time as the ANZ Country Head for Kiribati.
“Terence has a deep understanding of commercial lending and risk management, particularly in the oil and gas industry. In his new role he will be well positioned to help our clients achieve their goals to capture regional trade and capital flows.
“I am pleased that we were able to make this appointment internally, which highlights the strength of our Pacific leaders.”
ANZ is the international comercial bank in East Timor soon after the country got its independence.
